Fighting large groups of Fobbies are how I got to level 99, and even though it took several hours to level up all the way to level 99, it was fun getting there. I beat Giygas when I was 8 at Level 67 I remember it was by the seat of my pants! Oh and lots of Bowls of Lifenoodles!! I think that means Ness was under Level I remember Poo being in the forties though. Like many, I went on the wild goose hunt for the Sword of Kings, so I gained about levels doing that.
By the time I got to Giygas the first time I was playing, I was around level 89 or I remember trying to fight Giygas like every other enemy, so naturally I got completely dominated before I figured out I had to Pray.
I was only level something too. Every playthrough after that I pretty much just went to level 99 for overkill. I did some nice level grinding when I returned to Onett for the meteorite piece plus, I was already a little ahead due to some level grinding I did back when I was in Moonside. This is true. The thirsty coil snakes are more dangerous than the mole bosses, and since LLG avoids those entirely, mine is not a problem.
Everyone was level Reason: I tried getting a gutsy bat and failed. After many hours of sensless Bionic Kraken beatings I gave up and just went after Giygas without it. Man, was I over leveled or what…. Register Login. What level did you beat giygas on? Posted almost 13 years ago Quote Permalink.

GhostlyCrow: I dare you Yeah, I know I'm supposed to kill Pokey first. And I heard you can explore the world once the he's dead, but can I still level up and stuff? Or is that over and done with?
PSI Rockin' Alpha kills everyone? Hmm, that's strange, I remember it only dealing about 70 or so damage Try using Lifeup Omega before everyone dies, although Ness might be a bit too slow for that Maybe try using the shield that blocks PSI attacks I can't remember which one it is.
Also, I'm not sure about the leveling up, but the rest of the party leaves Ness before the credits. User Info: KingMetalSlime. Boards EarthBound dreamland what level should i be on. User Info: link User Info: Lvthn. If you haven't avoided literally every single battle up to this point and you are at least reasonably prepared as in, you didn't strip Ness naked before Magicant then you have nothing to worry about.
Magicant is considered fairly difficult but leveling up a bunch doesn't help that much. User Info: Cirevam. I think I was around level 70 when I entered and I hit 75 by the time I got to the end.
The only real trouble I had was with the enemies that constantly throw bombs, and Ness actually got homesick at one point, so I had to walk all the way back to mom You can avoid most of them anyway but even if you can't or don't, with that many BFL you will have no shortage of PP, especially if you topped off with magic pudding.
The three Krakens can be avoided but even if you don't avoid them you will be guarded against most of their dangerous attacks. Alternately save the dragonite if you feel it's too awesome to use and just spam Bash and Lifeup beta.
