You see, due to previous experience, I know that the daycare lady will delete the move at the bottom of the list in your Pokemon's summary.

If you put the move you want at the top of the list it wont be deleted til 4 new moves are learned. So once 3 new moves are learned I'd take the Pokemon out and adjust the order so the move isn't forgotten. Let me give you an example of how it'd work.
