Bob loved the life of the Surveyor and the challenges presented by it. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and free time with his family at their cottage on Grand Lake. He will be sorely missed. Codolences to the family , I will always remember the help given to me by Bob in 95 when I was left myself , without his help I would have been lost. Heaven has opened its gates to a great man.
We have many great memories - from St. We will treasure those memories and keep you in our thoughts and prayers. Bob was a man who shared his time and talents with many, and will be missed by all who knew him.
I especially appreciated his support during the transition of the E. Horne School from an active school in Enfield, to a community building under the direction of E. Horne School Preservation Society. His love of community and heritage was very evident in the many activities he participated in; but always first priority was his family. I was proud to call him friend. Sincerely, Michelle McKeen White. He'd always greet me with a big smile and a Hi Freddie! I think he's the only one to call me Freddie now that I think of it!
I'm thankful to have been a nephew because it gave me a chance to know him and heck I was even a "room mate" for 8 months during my first year of University thanks to his and your generosity. I've never heard a bad thing about him and knew surveyors who had a lot of respect for him.
I don't even remember him getting into trouble around the house, although he might have received the occasional rolling eye or two ;. It's not like he ever burned a pot holder or melted a mat or anything Ha ha ha. Uncle Bob sure loved to laugh. I remember him telling me about a story he heard on the radio that made him laugh so hard he had to pull over.
I remember another story when he talked about driving in an old car full of friends and pointing out that there was a tire bouncing along the road only to have their car swerve all over the road seconds later! I remember thinking of taking Architecture and taking engineering courses along the way because I found them interesting.
As we know the rest is history on that subject. Anyway, I hope this message brings a smile or two and fond memories. He was a great guy, well liked, a friend of many including the church, and judging by his poem he was at peace with things. Very hard to beat that. Condolences to the Feetham Families. Sorry to hear of Bob's passing. Deepest sympathy to you all.
Rhoda and their family. Bob's siblings and families. You will each have treasured memories of your loved one. I well remember the gatherings Doug and I shared with Rhoda and Bob with mutual friends, Bob telling stories, especially history of Enfield. These sharing's will be remembered by many. Condolences to the Feetham family. I am sorry to hear of your loss but I know you all have treasured memories, his immediate family, siblings and families.
I well remember the gatherings Doug and I shared with Bob and Rhoda and mutual friends. Bob's many story telling, especially history of Enfield. I imagine Bob now sharing with family and friends as he meets with those who have gone on before him. Sincerely, Dorothy O'Neill, Enfield. Our deepest sympathy at this difficult time. We were unable to attend the funeral but our prayers are with you all at this time. The obituary was beautifully written. Dear Rhoda and family I remember Bob fondly, particularly from the time he hired me to work at Wreck Cove.
Although the obituary doesn't specifically mention, Bob was considered the Boss of that project. I recall that he was especially kind and yet very respected by everyone there. It was my first surveying job and he made it an excellent experience.
Dear Rhoda, Vera and families, I was so sorry to hear about Bob. We may lose touch with old friends and parishioners from St. Pius, but they are not forgotten. I will keep all of you in my prayers, remembering a good man Sincerely, Ros Hubley.
Dear Rhoda and family, so sorry to hear of Bob's passing, our deepest sympathy is with the family in their time of sorrow and grief. Bob sure was a gentleman and a good boss, we travelled around quite a bit both over land and by chopper over many hydro dams and plants. It was always a pleasure and we many good times together. May God bless you all. Denton and Jeannette. Rhoda and family: It was with a heavy heart that we learned of Bob's death.
Asd a fellow land surveyor who worked on several association committees over the years, I can attest that Bob was a fine gentleman who loved his family followed by his love for land surveying. At a time when most people would have put their feet up in retirement, Bob continued to be a wonderful mentor to our association.
He was highly respected right across Canada. Sorry we cannot make it to the funeral service, however, you will all be in our prayers. Just a note to you anne marie that I am thinking of you and your entire family Rhoda and family We are so sorry to hear about Bob's death. Bob was a great man and an even greater mentor. As a young surveyor I felt privledged to have had the opportunity to work with him. Now, as a much older surveyor, I feel privledged to have called both of you our friends.
